Meet Dr Chess
Dr Christian Chess BSc (Hons) MB BCh BAO is an NHS medical doctor that grew up in Bath, Somerset. He gradated from Cardiff University and Queen’s University Belfast having completed 5 years medical training. Dr Christian then moved back to the West Country where he worked (and continues to work) in the well known Southmead Hospital. He has a keen interest in surgery and has excelled in all surgical placements.
The years of surgical experience combined with his interest in anatomy have led him to a career in aesthetics, where the face can be enhanced using detailed knowledge of products, techniques and anatomy.
He was taught and then practiced these skills in the world renowned Harley Street in London. Gaining knowledge and experience from the best cosmetic and aesthetic doctors in country.
Dr Christian Chess then started Dr Chess Aesthetics in Bristol, so he could bring the latest skills and techniques back to the West Country.

I run a small, local aesthetics clinic that is exclusively doctor run. Years of medical and surgical training allow procedures to be preformed precisely and expertly.
I take pride in only offering a small numbers of bespoke and specialised treatments, allowing our clients to receive an intimate and personalised service.
As a doctor, I am passionate about keeping my skills cutting edge. I regularly attend national skills and training days, which allow me to offer my clients the most modern treatments and techniques.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are used for rehydrating and to add volume to areas of the face. Like our anti-wrinkle treatment, we only use premium products. In this case we use Teoxane®, one of the best fillers on the market.
Fillers contain a substance known as Hyaluronic acid. This is a natural substance found in the body. Over time and through the natural course of aging you lose hyaluronic acid and so too lose facial volume.

Anti-Wrinkle Treatments
We only use premium botulinum toxin to relax muscles in our treatment of wrinkles. Prolonged treatment can result in well-established wrinkles being softened and shallow wrinkles can be reversed or smoothed entirely.
320BOtulinum-TOXin is a molecule that can be used to relax muscles. Brands such as Botox® and Azzalure® have brought a treatment that was once for the rich and famous to the average household.
As a doctor, the advanced knowledge of facial anatomy allows us to inject this substance into specific muscles, relaxing them and relieving wrinkles in those individual areas.
